Mission Statement:
“Our mission is to provide emotional support and wellness to the terminally and chronically ill through rescued and rehabilitated equines. Our main rescue focus is orphan nurse mare foals. Every year we rescue between 30-50 foals. We also provide community services such as horse care education and free or low cost gelding clinics”. Donations are the basis of our organization. Any proceeds will go to the care of these equines and to rescue many more and help them to find forever homes.”
Second Paragraph
Dream Equine Therapy Center provides equine therapy to patients at hospitals, facilities or at the farm. We will visit hospitals, nursing homes and rehab facilities.
The equines used for this program and that reside at DETC are all in some way rescued or rehabilitated and given a second chance. Any proceeds will go to the care of these equines and to rescue many more and help them find loving forever homes. Donations are the basis of our organization.
OUR BELIEF:
An old man walked up a shore littered with thousands of starfish, beached and drying up after a storm.
